About Lager
Lager is a young, medium-sized mixed breed (German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd) who thrives in calm, rural surroundings. Originally from Kentucky, he’s now in Pittstown, NJ, and he’s kept his country comfort. Lager gets along well with other dogs and loves having a fenced yard to run and play in. He has a genuine love for food and treats and is always eager to figure out new things if snacks are involved. Lager is goofy and laid-back for his age, keeping his foster mom entertained with his antics but staying quiet and calm when it matters. He does need continued training—his leash skills are minimal, and he knows a handful of basic commands. He’s house trained, and while social with dogs, he’s best suited to a home without young children. Adopters should be experienced with dogs, live within two hours’ drive, and be home often to help Lager thrive. Your new best friend is just one click away.
