Melba
AvailableMelba is a medium-sized, grey and white Domestic Short Hair cat living in Little Falls, NJ. She’s around 3 years and 11 months old, has a short coat, and is fully house trained. This spayed female is up to date on vaccines, so she’s healthy and ready for a new home.
About Melba
Melba started her story as one of several backyard kittens, watched by their clever mom who was eventually TNR’d. She was nervous at first, full of hisses and caution, but the timing was right for her to adapt to a new life indoors. Now as an adult, Melba is still on the wary side, but there’s an energy to her—a fidgety, active presence that rarely settles for a cuddle. Being held isn’t her style, and she’s the first to pull away if she senses too much attention. Melba would do best in a patient home that understands she’ll need time and maybe a feline companion to fully come out of her shell. This grey and white girl is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV negative, so she’s set to start her next chapter. Give her some space, a quiet welcome, and let her get comfortable on her terms. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
