She arrived at the shelter with three other dogs after her previous owner became incarcerated, but that hasn’t stopped her from learning to love and trust again. A little shy at first, Sandy quickly warms up and becomes an affectionate, loyal companion. She’s the #1 fan of belly rubs and a total sucker for snuggles! With consistency, patience, and kindness, she has blossomed into a playful pup with a silly streak that will steal your heart. Smart and eager to please, Sandy already knows basic commands like “sit,” “leave it,” “touch,” and “come.” She is both crate trained and housebroken, making her a wonderful housemate. She enjoys romping around with other dogs and even hops on the treadmill to burn off her zoomies—yes, really! Sandy is looking for a home that will continue to help her build confidence and show her that the world is a safe and loving place.
