About Wayne
Wayne had a rough start, rescued from a hoarding situation where he was nervous and unsure of people. Over time, he's grown much more comfortable and is now friendly and happy around his caretakers. With a background of living among many other animals, Wayne gets along easily with other dogs and has even looked after new puppies in his foster home. Before, he lived with lots of cats and should transition well to a home with feline companions. Although he hasn't been around children much, older kids would likely be a good fit. Wayne weighs just 18-20lbs and is a small adult, almost 3 years old, with an eye-catching black and white coat that makes you think of an Oreo cookie. His short physique adds to his charm. Born at the end of May makes him a Gemini—curiosity and adaptability are on his side. He isn’t house trained yet, but his playful, brave, and funny nature makes him a rewarding work in progress. Wayne's ready for someone who can help him continue his rescue journey. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
