Chocolate Chip is a neutered male cat, estimated to be 12-13 years old, living in Penfield, NY and available for foster-to-adopt or adoption. He’s a black and white tuxedo with a short coat, already house trained and fully up to date on his rabies and FVRCP vaccines. Chocolate Chip is an expert lap cat with a soft spot for cats, loves being the center of attention (especially if you talk to him or feed him), and is happiest when curled up listening as you chat. He's incredibly food motivated—earn his trust and he’ll climb onto your lap to politely remind you it’s mealtime, even sneaking in a kiss or two once he feels safe. While he tends to keep his distance with new faces and loud situations, he warms up as he gets to know you and remains gentle and sweet. Raised among a pack of fellow cats—Oreo, Snickers, Blackberry, and Klondike—he's social with his own kind and does well around children. Medical-wise, Chocolate Chip manages a moderate heart murmur with daily medication cleverly hidden in his food. His heart condition is progressing slowly and he’ll likely need another echo in the fall, but he eats his meds without protest.
