About Braden

This could be the start of something paw-some. Braden is the brother of Daniel and stands out as the most outgoing and adventurous of the pair. He is not suited for a hunting lifestyle and will only be adopted into a non-hunting home. Braden is a large, young adult English Coonhound mix weighing around 44 lbs. Unfortunately, due to his previous owner's health issues, Braden has returned to the care of the Rockbridge SPCA, where he is waiting for a new family to discover his joyful spirit. Braden has tested negative for heartworm, and all animals adopted from the SPCA—including Braden—are taken directly for spay/neuter surgery before they go home. The Rockbridge SPCA welcomes out-of-area adopters as long as they are able to make multiple visits. Please note the SPCA does not hold animals, and adoption is not open to college students, though volunteering is encouraged. Braden's friendly, playful, and smart nature make him a wonderful companion, and he cannot wait to meet his future family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
