About Mystic

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Mystic is a beautiful 3-year-old chihuahua/terrier mix who’s bursting with personality! She’s fond of people and gets along well with both dogs and cats, although her playful nature means she sometimes likes to chase feline friends—especially if they run. Mystic has a blast during play dates with other dogs at Velvet Snout, which really helps her expend some of her lively energy. Ideally, she’d love a home with a yard where she can dash around and keep an eye out for squirrels. Her foster family notes she has great house manners and has truly blossomed after coming from a challenging start in a hoarding situation. Now receiving the attention she deserves, Mystic is eager to find a loving forever home. Prospective adopters must be at least 21 years old, live within 60 miles of Richardson, Texas, and meet specific adoption requirements including a home visit. Are you ready to meet Mystic at the next event or submit an adoption application? Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Mystic

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Chihuahua/terrier mixes thrive in a variety of living environments, including apartments or houses, as long as they get plenty of attention and moderate exercise. They appreciate homes with space to play and a comfortable area to relax indoors.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

While this mix doesn't require a large yard, they enjoy having some outdoor space where they can play, run, and explore. Regular walks and playtime are more important than the size of the yard.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Chihuahua/terrier mixes generally do well with respectful children, especially if they are socialized from a young age. Their small size means supervision around very young children is recommended to avoid accidental injuries.
