Louie
AvailableLouie is a gray and white, medium-sized adult male domestic short hair/tabby cat currently residing at Rescued Tails Animal Sanctuary. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is reliably house trained.
About Louie
This could be the start of something paw-some. When Louie was first discovered, he was a cautious soul living in an old barn, avoiding human contact and bearing the signs of a difficult life. With persistence and gentle care, food was left out for him and he was gradually coaxed closer until he could be humanely trapped and taken to the vet. Louie was neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites, and his multiple bite wounds were given proper care. Over time, Louie has become more comfortable in his sanctuary enclosure; although he isn't ready to be touched yet, he comes close to his caregivers, uses his litter box faithfully, enjoys playing with toys, and interacts peacefully with the resident cats. He greets people with chatter at mealtimes, showing his playful and curious side. Louie is looking for an adopter with a calm home and the patience to let him adjust at his own pace. He will thrive best with someone experienced in helping shy or semi-feral cats build trust. If you are searching for a unique companion and can provide the peaceful setting Louie needs, he could be the perfect match for you. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
