About Rocket
Rocket is a 4-year-old coonhound/boxer mix who has finished the Pups for Parole training program and is ready for a new start in Springfield, MO. He weighs about 45 pounds, has a short, tan-and-white coat, and he’s both house and crate trained. Rocket loves learning and already knows commands like "sit," "lay down," and "off." He’s happiest hanging out with his people, whether cuddling on the couch or playing fetch with squeaky toys. Walks, even in the rain, are right up his alley. Rocket gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction and does well with older kids, but he should go to a home without cats. Due to his anxiety, he takes daily medication and needs an experienced adopter who can keep up with his training and help him thrive. Rocket needs a privacy-fenced yard and isn’t suited for apartment living. He comes neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his second act. Your new best friend is just one click away.
