About Suzie Q
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Say hello to Suzie Q, a medium-sized, 3½-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound with a big heart and even bigger love for adventure. Suzie Q is incredibly smart—she already knows commands like “sit” and “down,” and she’s eager to learn more with positive reinforcement (and a few treats for motivation). Her intelligence shines through her quick grasp of training and her love of using her nose for scent-driven explorations. Suzie Q is crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She’s comfortable around other dogs but prefers to keep to herself, so she would also be content as the only dog in the household. She’d be happiest in a cat-free home and would do best with children aged 8 years and up. True to her hound roots, she thrives on outdoor activities—long walks, hikes, and sniffing adventures are some of her favorite pastimes, along with playtime with her stuffed animals. If you’re seeking a loyal, adventurous companion who’s always up for the next outing and will greet every adventure with a wagging tail and bright eyes, Suzie Q could be your perfect match. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
