She arrived with a serious hernia on her belly, but thanks to the miraculous hands of our vet, she underwent immediate surgery that went swimmingly! 🥳 And let me tell you, Demi healed like a champ! 🏥 Although she has a distinctive paw that's a bit different, oh, how it doesn't stop her spirit! Her deformed paw doesn’t seem to cause her any pain, and guess what? She’s been making the best of her situation, even doing adorable zoomies in the yard! 🏃‍♀️💨 Demi came to our rescue at just six weeks old, born on February 1st. Fun fact, folks—she’s an Aquarius! That means she's a free spirit who loves to socialize. When she came to us, the previous caretakers mentioned that the other puppies would push her away during feeding time. But oh, have the tables turned! Since then, this little warrior has not missed a meal. 🍽️ She’s now fully functional and uses her leg and paw like a champ. We initially thought amputation might be the answer, but we are working with our vet to evaluate the best option.
