About Duncan Doggie
Duncan Doggie is a 67-pound Pit Bull, about six years old, whoās been through a lot and still stays sweet. Found dumped and in rough condition on the grounds of a prison in California, he was missing most of his fur, covered in wounds, and had many broken teeth. After a lucky rescue, heās bounced back and transformed into a happy, healthy dog whoās grateful for every gentle hand. He loves childrenāhe lives with kids ranging from toddlers to teens and genuinely enjoys being part of the family. His playful side comes out with backyard games of fetch or tug-of-war, and he still manages to be a world-class snuggler, never far from his beloved minky blanket. Duncanās history means he needs to be the only adult dog in his home. He gets extremely fearful and reactive around other adult dogs. However, heās reliably patient and protective with young puppies. He has food allergies, so he needs a grain and poultry-free diet to keep his skin healthyāsalmon-based food works wonders for him. Heās down 14 teeth after much-needed dental work, but still crunches kibble and loves treats as much as any other dog. Duncan is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and house trained. Heās searching for a loving home ready to give a big-hearted dog his fresh start. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
