About Curly
Curly starts out a bit reserved, studying his surroundings, but given time, his playful side comes out strong. He loves toys and gets the most joy from active play once he feels safe. While he doesn't jump into new situations, he truly comes alive with feline friends his own age—pairing with another kitten keeps him well socialized and happy. He thrives with patient people who understand his gentle, watchful nature and enjoy a thoughtful companion with a lively spirit. Curly is fully vetted: neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He has tested negative for FIV and FELV. He is house trained. As a rule, kittens under six months (like Curly) must be adopted in pairs to help with their social development and avoid the pitfalls of single kitten syndrome. He gets along well with other cats but is not currently suited for life with dogs. Curly is in Lincolnwood, IL and looking for a committed family ready for the long haul—a cat’s life can span up to 25 years. If you’re in the Chicago metro area and want a steady but playful friend who blossoms in good company, Curly may be your match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
