As I turn the page on my life's story, I am ready for a new beginning. I'm Fletcher, a 58 pound, 7 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix who escaped impending euthanasia thanks to Rescue One! I'm a big goofball. I love to play with all dogs, I also love toys and bones. I’m super gentle when I play—no growling or roughhousing, just some open-mouth play and rolling around. I’ll even join in a game of tug-of-war with toys, though I’m not really into playing with toys or chewing bones on my own just yet. I am laid-back and non-reactive, which makes me an easy fella to have around. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and good on a leash. A couple of my favorite activities are walks and car rides. I would make a great buddy too! I’m a bit of an escape artist, so if there is a fenced yard it would need to be one with a privacy fence since I’ve been known to jump chain-link fences. I love to show off my trick of shaking with both paws. By the way I am allergic to chicken, and I take a daily allergy pill, but otherwise I am a very healthy guy! I would love to find a family who has another dog and a couple of kids to play with.
