Peas and thank you for taking the time to learn about me! I'm Chickpea, an almost-2-year-old, 45pound bundle of retriever/ boxer joy and master snuggler. I'm house and crate trained, and greatly improving my leash etiquette. When I need a break from the hustle and bustle of the house, I head to my own little pea pod (i.e. crate). But don't let my relaxed demeanor fool you, because I've got plenty of spunk and energy to spare! I love nothing more than playtime and I'm always up for a game or two. After the sun sets, I am an expert at cuddling. You'll find me cozied up in your arms soaking up all the love and affection I can get. I get along with other dogs and sturdy kids over the age of 6. I will need a house setting with a privacy fence and a person committed to my continued training. With my boundless energy and enthusiasm for life, I'm the perfect companion for an active young person or couple. I would love to be the chickpea to your hummus!
