About Jax
Jax’s story isn’t a simple one, but he’s ready to write a happier next chapter. At nearly 8 years old, this large Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix is calm and easygoing—he just wants a secure fenced yard, a soft spot on the couch, and people to love him. Jax is house trained, crate trained, and comfortable on a leash. He’s friendly with other dogs around his size, and he’s best in a home with older, sturdy kids rather than toddlers—his size makes him a little much for the really little ones. Jax prefers not to live with cats. If there’s already a dog in the house, great; if not, he’s just as content to be your one-and-only. Smart, eager, and gentle, Jax is hoping for a family that will see his worth and offer the reliable home he deserves. Born August 4, Jax is a big-hearted Leo—so loyalty is just in his nature. Give him a real chance to settle in, and he’ll become a steadfast companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Jax
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
