About Sausage

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Sausage, a sweet and soft-natured boy with a gentle soul. Though a bit shy at first, Sausage enjoys the company of other kind dogs, pets, and treats. He’s crate trained and currently working on his leash manners and basic skills, including crating up on his own. Sausage thrives with patient, understanding people who can offer gentle guidance and encouragement as he explores the world with growing confidence. He weighs about 20 pounds and was born around early 2022, sporting a short, brown and black coat that highlights his unique charm. Sausage is happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard—apartments aren’t suitable for his needs, though some condos with private fenced yards may be considered. An adult or teen-only household is required, along with another friendly, playful, similarly-sized dog. Out-of-state adoptions aren’t available at this time, and meet-and-greets will be held in Poulsbo, WA. His adoption process includes an application, yard and crate photos, a phone interview, and an in-person meet. Sturdy crates (not wire or soft crates) are a must for his safety and comfort. Sausage is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to embark on his next adventure in a loving home. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
