About Greasy
Greasy came into foster care after a rough start—she and her family were abandoned outside the San Bernardino Animal Shelter late at night, discovered by chance and brought in the next morning. She arrived underweight and grubby, clearly having fought for every scrap she could find. As she gained her strength, Greasy’s curiosity and motivation around food became legendary; she once dove headfirst into a bowl of the foster dog’s chicken stew. Now at a healthy weight, Greasy is lively, social, and resilient, coexisting happily with other cats and children in her foster home. She’s looking for a family who appreciates her scrappy spirit and can offer a place where she can stay safe and well-fed for good. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
