About Edna Mae
This could be the start of something paw-some. Edna Mae, once known as Edna Crabapple at the Memphis Animal Shelter, is a charming six-year-old Lhasa Apso mix with a story of resilience. Now weighing in at 18 lbs, she has blossomed since her rescue and enjoys a calm, comfortable life in her foster home. Edna is initially reserved and takes her time to warm up to new people, valuing her independence and finding comfort in her crate. She especially loves having two nutritious meals a day, a special treat after overcoming significant neglect and poor nutrition. Thanks to dedicated care, she has been treated for heartworm and her coat has grown back beautifully. Edna’s trust is something to be earned, and once she feels secure, she will seek out affection and enjoy gentle pets. She is best suited for an adult-only household where her need for a peaceful environment and personal space will be respected. Ready to support her on her journey to a brighter future?
