About Ebony
Ebony is a black Lab mix and a true survivor who’s come a long way since her shelter days. She’s been thriving in her foster home—her foster mom calls her a sweet, happy girl who can never get enough cuddles or belly rubs. Ebony lights up at the chance to play fetch or head out for a walk, and she’s most at peace when outdoors. She already has excellent house manners, knows her basic commands, and is both house and crate trained. Ebony does best with a consistent routine and prefers quiet households—she tends to be shy around men, so a female home is her comfort zone, though she’ll warm up to the right male guardian given time and space. Ebony is looking for a dedicated adopter committed to providing her with structure, daily exercise, and lifelong love. She would rather be the only dog in the home. Ebony is about two years old, up to date on her shots, and spayed. She’s ready to meet you in New York, NY. Start your journey together! Apply now.
