About Rosemary
This could be the start of something paw-some. Rosemary’s story is truly special—she spent five years surviving on her own on the streets before a network of devoted animal welfare supporters, along with a skilled trapper, helped her to safety. During her time on the streets, she bravely raised three litters of puppies, all of whom found loving homes or were rescued, but now it’s finally Rosemary’s turn for a happy ending. Since coming into care, Rosemary has overcome heartworm and shown tremendous courage. She has blossomed from being a fearful pup curled up in her private room to a much happier girl, embracing the comforts of indoor life. However, she still startles easily and remains wary of fast movements or loud noises, so her ideal adopter is someone who can offer lifelong patience and is willing to support her journey of learning what it means to be a cherished family dog. She is incredibly sweet and, once comfortable, truly enjoys kind, gentle affection from people she trusts. Fun fact: Born on May 5, Rosemary is a Taurus—known for loyalty and tenderness once they feel secure! Rosemary is about 6 to 7 years old, and she’s ready for a loving home that understands her unique needs and can continue to offer her the understanding she deserves. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
