About Pierre
Pierre is part dog, part giant teddy bear. Weighing in at about 100 pounds, this Caucasian Shepherd has a goofy, gentle nature that stands out the second he enters a room. His soulful eyes and slightly clumsy walk give him a ton of characterāhe still has that fresh, puppy-like joy about life even though he's a few years into adulthood. Pierre is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and an easy leash companion. He settles in easily with adults and kids, thriving in homes where he gets plenty of affection and company. His intuition is remarkable; heās quick to notice when his people need comfort, and quietly makes himself available. Pierre would do best in a home where he can be close to his humans, either lounging at their feet or romping in the yard. He may get along well with a calm, easygoing dog, but heād also be happy as an only pet. Heās shown tolerance towards small animals and might be cat-friendly with the right introductions. The only thing he asks for is a home without full flights of stairsāa few steps are fine, but a long climb isnāt for him. Pierre needs a guardian-breed-savvy home with room for his big personality and loyalty. If youāve got space in your heart and home for him, heās more than ready to become your best friend.
