About Miss Muffet

Miss Muffet is a resilient senior who faced the upheaval of losing her longtime home and ended up at the shelter without her feline siblings. Despite her rough start, she wasted no time settling into a foster home in Dallas—she literally let herself out of her safe space and took charge, letting the resident cats, especially the males, know she was there to stay. She quickly found her rhythm, taking daily combings in stride after having her matting removed. Though she’s been strictly an indoor cat, Miss Muffet adjusted to living with dogs; she seems to coexist well but prefers felines, especially those who know how to read a strong, sweet female. Now up to date on her vaccines and given a clean bill of health, Miss Muffet isn’t fond of vet trips but is otherwise an easy roommate. She barely meows, loves to nap beside her person, follows people from room to room, and relishes treats. She would do best in a multi-cat home with gentle companions or could thrive as an only cat where she gets all the attention. As a Scorpio, she’s every bit as independent and quietly affectionate as her sign. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
