About Gruff
Your new best friend is just one click away. Gruff is a handsome Shepherd mix who was rescued in Texas and is now ready for a new chapter in life. Despite a rough past, Gruff has blossomed into a very gentle, loving, and playful companion. He does wonderfully with people, gets along well with other dogs, and even enjoys the company of cats. Gruff absolutely loves to play fetch with his pink octopus toy, goes on walks with enthusiasm, and is mastering basic commands like "come." He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and especially enjoys having playmates, as shown by his positive experience living in a foster home with four other dogs. While Gruff is playful and energetic, he is also gentle, making him suitable for families with dog-savvy older kids (12+). He truly longs for a home of his own and will make a wonderful addition to a caring family. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are taken care of, and transport support is available if you're a considerable distance from Gruff's foster home.
