About Missy
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Missy is a stunning 3-year-old Lab/Chow mix who has overcome so much since arriving from Georgia. When she first came into foster care, she was suffering from a painful skin infection and mange, but with loving care, she has blossomed into a vibrant and beautiful girl. Missy is now the heart and soul of her foster family’s pack—she absolutely thrives when surrounded by canine friends and must go to a home with another dog. She is fantastic with dogs of all sizes and particularly enjoys the comfort and confidence they bring her. Missy still feels timid and shy around new people and needs time to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels secure, she becomes an affectionate, lively companion who brings endless joy to those around her. She is spayed and both crate and house trained, with lovely manners in the home. Her crate is her safe haven, and she finds a lot of comfort there. Missy will do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play and with an adopter who can be patient, gentle, and understanding while she comes out of her shell. If you are ready to give Missy the patience and kindness she deserves, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
