About Spike
Spike lost his longtime home when his owner's health declined and she could no longer care for him. Wanting to spare him the stress and fear of a shelter, he came to us looking for safety and a bit of luck. Spike is four years old, blind and deaf, and asks for a truly special adopter—someone comfortable with his challenges and willing to nurture him at his own pace. He might come off as cranky at first, but that’s just caution; once Spike learns your scent and gets used to your touch, he settles in and shows real affection. His sense of smell is still sharp, helping him navigate his world with surprising skill. If you approach gently and give him time, you’ll find a sweet, loyal companion beneath the tough shell. Spike deserves a calm, loving home where he can feel safe for good. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
