About Lennon

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Lennon arrived at rescue in early 2024 after being abandoned and found tied to a fence. His first rescuer helped him adjust to leash walking and socializing with people and pets, but was unable to keep him, so Lennon joined the care of Ratbone Rescues. Lennon is eye-catching with his sharp looks, but, more importantly, he forms deep bonds with his humans and takes his protective role seriously. When previously adopted, Lennon struggled in a home without a fenced yard and with frequent neighborhood activity, showing a vigilant and reactive nature to people, pets, and noises outside. Safety and routine are important to Lennon, which is why his next home must have a secure, fully fenced yard. He thrives in a quieter environment with minimal foot traffic, so homes with children are not suitable. Lennon responds best with a calm, playful dog companion and simply adores playing, whether it’s fetch or enjoying his toys. He came around quickly on his return, remembering his furry pals, and his love for treats is always a bonus! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
