About CoCo

Coco is a 6-year-old large Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gentle soul and a longing for peace. She’s spent nearly a year in rescue, slowly learning that some people are kind, and quietly hoping for a place to call her own. Coco is wary with strangers, but once she’s sure of you, she’ll latch on for life—a velvet shadow at your heels and a calm companion by your side. She’s happiest in a quiet home, far from the chaos and noise of children, where her shy nature can find calm. She’s lived with other animals in the past, though a careful match would be important if there are other pets. What Coco truly needs is someone experienced, who understands what trust takes and is not in a rush. You’ll get free training sessions after adoption (through the Pawsitive Pawgress Program), to help her settle in and thrive. Coco doesn’t do well with cats and has some ongoing needs that should be discussed before adoption. She deserves a home where she feels safe and can lean into the steady routine she craves. If you want a loyal, loving, and lowkey homebody companion, Coco is ready for her new start. Click apply to start the adoption process.
