About Harbor
Letās talk about Harbor, a two-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with personality right out of the gate. At first, Harbor comes on strongāheāll make himself known, especially through a fence, and it takes him some time to size up new people (especially certain men). But the folks at Raskel's Rescue love him deeply, and thatās not by accident. Harborās clever, quick to pick up cues, and obsessed with fetchāhonestly, the dog would probably play until the sun goes down (and then keep going if given the chance). He already has "sit" down, is working on "down," and heāll hustle to learn more, especially if thereās a favorite ball involved. Once he decides you belong in his circle, Harbor turns affectionate and loyal, even a little cuddly. His history explains everything: he was left tied to a lamp post near a busy highway, forced to rely on his own wits for who knows how long. That stint left Harbor wary at firstābut heās pushed through and made massive progress at the rescue. Heās not going to be a one-size-fits-all pet. Harbor will ask you for patience and a bit of understanding, but if you give it, youāll get a fiercely devoted, playful friend. Swing by, toss a ball with him, and see what makes this dog so special.
