About Roland

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Roland has faced challenging times early on, losing his mother and home to a house fire and subsequently dealing with health struggles that left him wary of people. Despite these hardships, this resilient tabby has made great progress in healing, regaining weight and some trust in the company of caring individuals. Now that his mouth infections are treated, Roland enjoys eating Sheba pâté wet food with a Churu topper and even snacks on Purina Cat Complete dry food. Roland finds comfort playing with toy mice, scratching on a catnip pad, and lounging with feline companions. He loves soft head rubs and appreciates gentle interactions but prefers to set the pace as he acclimates to new surroundings and people. It's important that he finds an understanding home where he can feel safe, observe from his own space, and gradually build connections. Though he may hiss when unsure, Roland is not aggressive and never resorts to scratching or biting. What he truly wants is a patient forever home where he has the chance to fully relax and be your devoted friend. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
