Roland
AvailableRoland is a tabby adult male cat with a medium build. He has been neutered and is currently in Chandler, AZ. Roland gets along well with other cats and appreciates a gentle, calm environment after all he’s been through.
About Roland
Roland has had a tough start—he lost his home and his mother after a house fire, which left him wary of people. After struggling with severe mouth infections and losing most of his teeth, Roland pulled through and now enjoys Sheba pâté wet food with a bit of Churu on top, and he's put weight back on. He’s more trusting these days but prefers to take things slow, settling in gradually and watching new surroundings from a safe perch. Roland spends his time swatting at toy mice, lounging with other cats, and soaking up a few gentle head rubs when the mood strikes. He may hiss at first but isn’t aggressive. A patient adopter who lets him warm up at his own pace will give Roland the peaceful home he deserves. He also gets along well with other cats and would do best in a calm, understanding household. Questions about Roland
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Tabby cats like Roland tend to adapt well to a variety of homes, whether it's an apartment or a house, as long as they feel safe and have quiet spaces to retreat to.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Roland, as a tabby cat, would be perfectly content indoors with enriching toys and cozy nooks; outdoor space isn't necessary for his well-being.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Tabby cats are often known for their gentle nature, but since Roland is a bit shy and reserved, a home with older, respectful children or adults may be best.
