About Sunny
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Sunny is a charming four-year-old pug with a well-balanced energy level and a shining personality. Highly food motivated and wonderfully trainable, she quickly charms everyone she meets. Sunny thrives in environments with other pugs and has shown herself to be great with all humans—adults, kids, and guests alike. Her past includes some time as a stray in Houston, where she bravely faced adversity, but her foster family has helped her blossom into a confident, loving companion. She is heartworm positive, but will complete treatment and be ready for her forever home by early August. Currently, Sunny is regrowing her plush short tan fur and gradually returning to a healthy weight following a bout with fleas. She has seamlessly adjusted to routines, is crate-trained, and has had zero indoor accidents. Sunny does well with other dogs and has even met a cat, which she politely ignored. Her ideal home would be one with a moderate activity level that keeps her mind and body engaged—she’s very smart, and her food motivation means she could easily excel in canine sports or even therapy work. If you’re looking for a loving and social companion, Sunny is ready to shine in your family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
