Shandy is a handsome senior boy. He was rescued from the shelter in which he was completely shutting down. He does have a hematoma in his left ear. Due to his age and how long he has had it, the vet said to not do surgery on it. He took a few days to adjust to his foster home, which is mostly adults. He likes to find his place to be up high and observe what all is going on around him. He doesn't get involved with his foster fursiblings, but he does interact with them at feeding time. He is a very wonderful boy. If he could find a home with an older adult to let him live out his next 5-10 years, he would be the happiest, most grateful, good companion boy!!! We are currently doing the meet and greets in the potential adopter’s home. This has worked out well for us, since we can see at that time if the cat accepts you, and vice versa. We then know it is a “purrfect” fit. Indoor Only adoptions. Our adoptable cats have been fixed, vaccinated, combo tested (negative), microchipped, and up-to-date flea treatment.
