Mika is a survivor with grit — a two-year-old German Shepherd/Boxer mix who’s faced serious challenges and triumphed every time. After being hit by a car, undergoing surgery on her legs, and pushing through heartworm treatment, she’s bounced back with spirit fully intact. Smart, resilient, and eager to please, Mika brings a big brain and a gentle, loyal nature to the table. She gets along with other dogs and enjoys a good play session. With kids, she’s patient and gentle, making her an ideal family companion. She’s curious about cats and may give chase, but it’s more out of interest than harm. Mika thrives with direction and could excel in advanced training or even service work. She needs a home where she’ll be mentally and physically engaged — perfect if you love a project and can invest time in consistent training. While she’s house trained, Mika is still working on her crate skills and may need some help polishing her potty habits. The right person for her is patient, steady, and wants to see that intelligence blossom. As a Pisces born in March, she’s intuitive and deeply loyal, always tuned in to her people. This girl’s next chapter is wide open. Give her the structure and connection she craves, and Mika will return it with devotion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
