About Iris
Iris came into care as a skinny, frightened stray at just five weeks old. After growing up with a group of lively bottle-fed kittens, she remains noticeably shy and prefers to watch the world from the sidelines. Gentle petting brings out her friendly side, though she doesn’t usually seek it out on her own. Iris gets along well with mellow cats, especially those who treat her kindly, but she can be pushed around by more dominant felines. She’s looking for someone patient who will help her blossom and find self-assurance. Iris does well with dogs but isn’t suited for households with children. She needs a calm, encouraging environment to help her gain confidence and enjoy the companionship she really wants. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
