About Montecor

This could be the start of something paw-some. Montecor, lovingly known as Monty, is a large domestic short hair cat with a lively and playful personality. Though he's not a classic lap cat, you'll find him loyally snoozing at your feet or playfully nipping at your toes at bedtime. Monty is happiest when chasing after his plastic springs and ping pong balls or dashing through the house with his foster feline friends. He tends to call out for his people when he's in another room, displaying an affectionate streak without being overly clingy. Monty adjusts well with other cats and is unbothered by dogs, making him a wonderful addition to multi-pet households. However, he'd thrive best in a home with children over five, as sudden noise and excitement might make him cower initially. Given a short period to settle, Monty is back to his happy, playful self. Previously, he faced some health challenges including cystitis as a kitten and a bout with ringworm, but he’s made a full recovery and is now as active and cuddly as ever, especially with a special diet of sensitive stomach food. His journey began in a feral colony, arriving to his foster home covered in fleas but quickly transforming after some TLC. Monty starts purring as soon as you touch him and has lots of love to give. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
