Kyra, along with her sister, Myra, was found in a field in a rural city SW of Dallas. Kittens were being snatched by the hawks. Luckily a person saw this happening and held vigil over Kyra and kittens to make sure they were all gathered, safe, and on their way to a rescue. Kyra was an awesome mom (for too many litters) but now she is a single girl looking for a forever home. She is OK as the only cat or adding to a household with other cats. Since she lived outside for over 2 years, and she will need to be introduced to a dog (preferably small) if her adopter owns a dog. She is so sweet to have been an outside cat and has not tried to get outside of her foster home. We are currently doing the meet and greets in the potential adopter’s home. This has worked out well for us, since we can see at that time if the cat accepts you, and vice versa. We then know it is a “purrfect” fit. Indoor Only adoptions. Our adoptable cats have been fixed, vaccinated, combo tested (negative), microchipped, and up-to-date flea treatment.
