Ishmael is a large Siamese and Domestic Short Hair mix with a tough history—he was rescued after being attacked by another cat and needed time to heal and feel safe. Despite his size, Ishmael is not aggressive at all. He's laid back and spends his days chilling or acting as the resident babysitter for kittens, who love to snuggle up next to him. He’s not likely to become a lap cat, but once trust is earned, he’ll show his affectionate side. Every now and then, Ishmael joins in with toys and kitten play, proving he’s got a playful streak under that calm exterior.
