Big Val is a black Domestic Short Hair cat living in Middle Village, NY. She's a senior, about 9 years and 2 months old, and is spayed and vaccinated. She is house trained and has special medical considerations, as she's FIV positive.

About Big Val

Big Val has a gentle way about her. She prefers her cozy bed and watches the world from the sidelines, only venturing out most mornings when she's feeling brave. With a little patience and plenty of salmon pate, she warms up—food and long petting sessions are the keys to her heart. Sometimes, there’s a little look when the petting stops, like she’s politely asking for just a bit more—she knows how to win people over with those eyes. While she’s on the quieter side, there’s bliss in just being by your side. Big Val is FIV+, so she has a weaker immune system, but that hasn’t stopped her from loving a relaxed life. She does well with other cats and just needs a bit of added care to keep her thriving, like a lysine supplement. Her best days are calm, safe, and filled with soft head scratches.
