About Dean
Dean, also known as Mr. Debonair Dean, came to PugHearts after being rescued from a tough situationāhe was found in a car trunk, in rough shape. The wonderful couple who saved him loved him instantly but needed to return him so they could keep searching for their own lost pug. Thankfully, their pup was found safe, and Dean started his new chapter in foster care right away. Dean is about four years old and is adjusting quickly; the first day in foster care he bounced around, unsure where to settle first. Although itās unknown what his life was like before, heās facing some medical hurdles: the vet is working to understand the root of his head tilt and loss of balance, investigating possible chronic ear infection or brainstem issues. He arrived flea-infested but is now clean, though he has bald patches and could stand to put on another pound or two. Dean sleeps soundly in his crate and is learning his bathroom routine. Heās busy soaking up care and affection on his road to recovery. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
