About Esmeralda
Esmeralda (Esi for short) is one of those cats who bloom once they trust you. She starts out reserved, but once she decides you’re okay, she’ll greet you with the kind of enthusiastic, affectionate headbutts that make your day better. Esi is petite and striking, with a classic black and white coat. She’s playful—cat towers, window perches, and wand toys grab her attention, and she has a weakness for running water and Churus treats. In her foster home with several other cats, she’s fit in well and become part of the group. Esi is independent by nature and prefers to be near you, not on your lap. She isn't a cuddler, but she’ll make her need for attention clear—she’s vocal, especially when she wants pets or snacks. She’s house trained and uses both a Litter-Robot and traditional litter box without issue. Esmeralda would do best with an adopter who has cat experience and patience to let her adjust at her own pace. She is available to meet by appointment once your adoption application is approved. Give her a chance and Esi might just win you over with her quirky, affectionate ways. Start your journey together! Apply now.
