Carly
AvailableCarly is a sweet adult female medium-sized cat, a mix of Domestic Short Hair and Torbie, currently in Cypress, TX. She is house trained, spayed, and has up-to-date vaccinations. Carly gets along with other cats and continues to grow more relaxed in her new environment.
About Carly
Carly is a bit standoffish at first, but there’s a sweet side that emerges as she becomes comfortable. Rescued with her sister from a feral colony, she’s still figuring out life indoors and remains pretty skittish, especially around unexpected noises. That said, she’s already calmed down a lot and is making steady progress. Carly gets along well with other cats but isn’t suited for homes with dogs. She’s open to learning and might be convinced that playing with toys is fun once she feels safe enough around you. If you’re patient and want to help a shy cat blossom, Carly could be the one. Questions about Carly
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Domestic Short Hair cats like Carly typically adapt well to quiet households where they can settle in at their own pace. They do best somewhere they feel safe and can have calm spaces to retreat to.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Carly, being a Domestic Short Hair/Torbie, will do well entirely indoors. She doesn’t need outdoor space as long as her home has areas to climb, lounge, and explore safely inside.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Domestic Short Hairs are generally adaptable, though Carly’s shyness means she would do better in a home without small children, or with children who can respect her need for space.
