This small, short-coated mixed breed dog is an adult female with a lovely brown coat. She is currently at the Post Animal Refuge Center and is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Ducky is house trained and has some special needs related to her vision. She is best suited for a patient, caring home that can manage her ongoing eye care.

About Ducky

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Ducky came to the rescue after losing her owners due to tough circumstances, leaving her without a home. Now safe and cared for, she has quickly become a staff favorite with her adorable looks and endearingly bossy personality! Ducky is blind in one eye and requires eye drops to maintain the health of her remaining eye, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. Because she is quite small and partially blind, Ducky is understandably cautious around new people. She does not appreciate big dogs and isn’t shy about making her feelings known. However, once she feels secure and knows she can trust someone, Ducky opens up and absolutely loves attention—she's truly in need of that special loving home. As a fun fact, since Ducky was born on April 19, she is an Aries, often described as brave and bold, much like her! Start your journey together! Apply now.
