Shallot was abandoned in a house and escaped by tearing a hole in a screen and jumping from a second story window. He knew the street life was NOT for him and ran into a neighboring house when we came out to investigate the scared little guy on the porch. He can be a little skittish because of this experience, so is probably best for someone experienced with cats. He is an incredibly playful young cat. He has endless kitten-like energy—haven’t had him with other cats, but he seems to need a playmate! He really needs a cat friend! He can go for hours with the wand and can even entertain himself with plain puffballs. He enjoys finding new places to nap and exploring every nook and cranny. Shallot is not very cuddly, but he finds safety in people (always in the same room and slept in same bed the first night off the street) and will keep close to you. This little dude is cute and beloved by most who meet him. He is ready to be your, and hopefully another playful cat’s, companion. Shallot Osage is around a year old and is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.
