Waldo
AvailableThis sweet small mixed-breed Dachshund/Chihuahua is a senior male currently being cared for at Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue. He is neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. Waldo's ongoing care requires daily medication for his well-managed heart condition. He recently had a dental cleaning with several teeth removed, so his smile is in great shape.
About Waldo
Your new best friend is just one click away. Waldo is a gentle, loving soul who gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes — big, small, and everything in between. He’s an easygoing companion who adores being close to his people. His favorite hobbies include sleeping under blankets (whether it’s a human bed or dog bed, he doesn’t discriminate!), snuggling in the recliner, and being your loyal little shadow. You’ll find his affectionate nature creates a deep bond with those who care for him. Waldo was diagnosed with Chronic Valvular Disease of the heart, but it’s well-managed with Vetmedin twice daily, making his ongoing care straightforward and affordable. Recently, he had his teeth cleaned and five problematic ones removed, leaving his smile healthier than ever. As a tiny escape artist, Waldo needs a home where his outdoor time can be closely supervised. For his safety and comfort, a family without young children (no kids under 10) is ideal. Waldo is ready for a loving home that will cherish his cuddles, keep his adventurous spirit safe, and provide all the cozy blanket time his heart desires. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, has received a ProHeart 12 injection, and passed his senior exam and bloodwork with flying colors. Let Waldo fill your life with warmth and companionship. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
