Tigytig is a gray and tan Domestic Short Hair male, about 2 years and 9 months old, currently living in Priest River, ID. He is neutered, vaccinated, house trained, and manages a unique diet due to a lifelong esophageal condition. Tigytig gets along with children and other cats and brings plenty of energy and affection to any home.

About Tigytig

Tigytig was born with a rare esophageal condition called esophagitis, which means he deals with acid reflux and irritation in his esophagus. Washington State University specialists confirmed he needs to eat mainly soft food blended into a slurry, fed in small portions throughout the day—standard kibble is off-limits, though he's recently managed a little without issue. This will be a lifelong routine for Tigytig, along with his restricted protein diet. Despite this, Tigytig’s spirit is all joy and mischief. He's wild about food and has no shortage of creative schemes for trying to break into the other cats’ meals. He’s affectionate, playful, and brings plenty of personality—never short on ways to make people laugh. Tigytig gets along with other cats but shouldn’t be allowed to free-feed. He’s also happy around children and enjoys being the center of attention. Tigytig is in foster care in Priest River, ID, and visits are by appointment. Click apply to start the adoption process.
