About Zeus
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Zeus is a playful and mischievous male brown tabby (estimated DOB: 7/9/2024). After a round of playtime, he will happily curl up for a cozy evening on the couch. Although he is a bit shy at first and may need a brief adjustment period, once Zeus is comfortable, he reveals himself to be an absolute sweetheart. Zeus is being fostered with his sister, Athena. While they are not bonded, they can be adopted together if you’re looking for a pair. Rescued alongside his mom and four siblings on Chicago’s far southside, Zeus’ journey began on a hot summer day when his mom gave birth next to a dumpster, but his story turned hopeful when a kind neighbor intervened. Zeus tends to be timid around other cats initially, but with patience, he warms up to feline companions. He hasn’t been exposed to dogs yet. It’s important to note that all kittens must be adopted with another kitten or go to a home with a resident young cat for play and socialization. This policy is to ensure happy, healthy development and is widely practiced among rescues. Fun fact: with his July 9th birthday, Zeus is a Cancer, known for sweetness and loyalty. All cats are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated. They are ready for loving homes and eager to meet you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
