Tigger is as sweet as he is handsome. He is 9-10 months old & 48 lbs. He & his littermates were abandoned on a country road in East Texas. Sadly, Tigger was the only puppy in the litter to survive. He was terrified when he was found. He wanted nothing more than to eat & stay as close as possible to his new mom. When he was introduced to living inside a house, he didn't care for it. Tigger being sad made his foster brothers & sisters sad. Determined to teach him how cool a puppy's life could be. They taught Tigger about tug toys, chew toys, squeaky toys, removing the squeakers from squeaky toys, dog beds, mom's bed, blankets & yak cheese chews. Tigger also discovered air conditioning & he really, really enjoyed it. Tigger is very bright & quickly catches on to new commands. He is treat & praise motivated & loves to please his foster mom. He develops strong attachments & is as loyal as can be. Tigger would be happiest in a situation where he isn't left alone for more than a few hours at a time. Tigger is housebroken & crate trained but will require a heavy duty crate. He is very loving & affectionate & is a 1st class cuddler. He will sleep in his kennel or a dog bed but he prefers to sleep on his mom's bed. He has very nice manners, is great with other dogs & people & loves children. He has some separation anxiety which is improving as he gains confidence. He loves water & retrieving his favorite ball. He is extremely curious & loves to go on adventures.
