Tigger
AvailableTigger is a young, neutered male Plott Hound/Black Labrador Retriever mix with a short brindle and bicolor coat, currently in Anna, TX. He is house trained and vaccinated, fitting a medium size. Tigger's bright personality stands out, and his good manners make him easy to have around.
About Tigger
Tigger is as sweet as he is handsome. At about 9–10 months old, he’s already survived more than most: he and his littermates were abandoned on a lonely country road in East Texas, and only Tigger made it through. When found, he was terrified and hungry, wanting nothing more than food and the comfort of his new foster mom. At first, indoor life unsettled him, but his canine foster siblings rallied around and helped him figure out the joys of beds, toys, and even a love of air conditioning. Tigger is sharp and picks up new commands quickly, especially if treats are involved. He’s extremely loyal, forming deep bonds with his people, and he prefers not to be left alone long—separation anxiety is a work in progress, but he’s learning. He’s housebroken and crate trained, though he does best with a strong, escape-proof kennel. Tigger gets along great with other dogs and children, relishes water play and ball time, and has a curious streak that makes every day an adventure. His manners are solid, and he much prefers snuggling up at night, especially when there’s a cozy bed. Ready for a loving companion who has already learned how good life can be?
