About Houdini Handsome
Houdini Handsome is a cat who likes his space but still wants to be near you, earning his title of 'part-time lover.' He came to the rescue after a wild escape attempt left him wedged between a gate and a house. The resulting scrapes and bruises are healing, and he’s already showing a sparkly recovery. Houdini is reserved at first and takes his time warming up to new people, so an experienced cat owner will be the best match. Once trust is earned, head rubs quickly become his favorite activity, and the bond deepens from there. Houdini gets along well with other cats—just introduce him slowly so he feels comfortable. Approaching middle age at around 5 years old, he’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV and FIV negative, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and fully litter box trained. Houdini will be happiest in a patient home where he can unwind at his own pace. He’s waiting in Philadelphia, ready to start his next chapter. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
