About Harley

Harley is a gentle, slightly goofy senior Siberian Husky who just escaped a tough fate at the shelter. At 11, he’s proof that age can be misleading—he still enjoys spurts of energy and the simple pleasures of hanging out in the yard or strolling the neighborhood. Harley is easy-going, good on a leash, and responds to direction without fuss. He settled in seamlessly with a foster family, getting along with their older kids (13 and 18). While he does have some arthritis and dermatitis, his conditions are managed and don’t slow him down much. Harley thrives with a mellow canine companion and would do well in a home with older children—no cats, though. He’s housetrained, fully vetted, and up to date on vaccinations. His mobility isn’t perfect, but he happily manages and still enjoys his walks. If you’re after a laid-back, affectionate buddy who just wants to lounge or meander outside, Harley’s your guy.
