Pepper is friendly and happy with all people. January 11, 2021 we saved Pepper and her boyfriend Stark. They were living on a mattress off the freeway at a truckstop for weeks before Christmas 2020. Several people tried before weeks. A rescue committed so we went out. Rescue fell thru and these two have been on an out of state waiting list. We want to try and find Pepper a home that knows the akita breed. She hugs her bowl when she eats. She loves to talk. And she is no longer bonded to her friend. She loves her food. She wants to escape at first. But she listens very well. She loves to play with other dogs. She hates going potty in her kennel so housetraining would be an easy transition. She's about 8 years old.
